Best middle of the road BASF clear ?
I am looking for a eye of the road BASF articulate coat that has higher solids content than the new Limco line like the LC4000. I take used the old Limco supreme clear like xv years ago on some restoration projects and it was a really good clear, layed down overnice set up quick but they have discontinued information technology and now have the LC4000 to repalce it which lays down proficient only is very low solids content and requires too many coats to get a good film build.
Have looked at the RM 92 clear but want to know if their is a heart of the road higher solid clear in the BASF line that someone has had experience with.......thanks

I utilise a couple different Glasurit clears but they are quite expensive. I approximate a middle of the route product would be something like Diamont clear but I don't have enough experience with them to make a recommendation.

The but BASF articulate Ive e'er used was the Diamont DC-92 and I actually liked it a lot. It lays downwardly great and holds upwards really well, but it'due south non the highest solids clear Ive e'er used either. If yous're doing a lot of graphics, you may desire to use something else.
I know in the Diamont line they've come out with some new clears in the last few years, I call back one of them is the DC3000. Ive never used it and so I tin't comment on it just notwithstanding, but if it'southward Diamont, it'southward got to be expert.

i haven't had any feel with dc92 but i believe its not a CTR clear. i have however used dc5100 and i'one thousand quite pleased with information technology. limco also has a 4500 which isn't that bad either. it'southward not as thick every bit 5100 though.
